About Jill Kent: PR Consultant London

I’m often asked, ‘so what does a PR consultant do?’ And no, the answer isn’t long boozy lunches.

In fact, I rarely leave the office when it comes to my job. And that’s because working as a successful London PR consultant is a 12-hour-a-day occupation. Not that I’m complaining. I love it!

Finding that unusual angle. Or unearthing that interesting stat or fact. Or hitting on an idea that I know will have the journos and editors licking their lips is what makes me tick.

Sure, I’m known for my love of fast cars and tall mountains. But guess what gives me an even greater buzz?

My role as your PR consultant and getting outstanding coverage in the London, UK and international media for you, your brand, your product or your business.

What makes this London PR consultant tick

Good Story

A Good Story

I trained as an NCTJ (National Council for the Training of Journalists) news journalist when I was 18. I’m always on the lookout for a great story and follow TV news and current affairs 24/7.

News Media

News Media

I adore the smell of newsprint. I can’t walk past a newsstand without checking on newspapers and magazines, what’s making the news, and who’s being talked about.

London PR

London Town

Even though I’m a northerner I LOVE London: the vibe, the culture, the cuisine, the people, and the architecture. It’s a great place to do business.

Cool Music

Cool Music

I’m a trained drummer and I used to be in an indie band. I listen to all kinds of music from classical to country and garage to gangsta, and everything in between.

Fast Cars

Fast Cars

I buy a different car every year and am currently working my way through Porsche, starting with a 911 Turbo. Before that, I went through the BMW M Series. My favourite? The legendary M3. I do track days as often as I can.

Rock Climbing

Rock Climbing

I’m a member of indoor climbing clubs in Surrey and Sussex and rock climb and boulder 3-4 times a week. My personal climbing coach is training me to tackle the world’s hardest routes. Bouldering is my passion.

Extreme Sports

Extreme Sports

I enjoy the thrill of extreme sports and ski and mountaineer in Europe and the US. At the weekends, I like to road cycle around Richmond Park. Fast. I also surf.

Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein

The physicist Albert Einstein is an inspiration. His quote “The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits” is a favourite.
